Tokayev met Miguel Ángel Gil Marín to discuss football infrastructure and training young players.
President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received Atlético Madrid CEO Miguel Ángel Gil Marín on 22 October. Akorda said the meeting covered cooperation in developing young footballers and improving training infrastructure.
The discussion highlighted ongoing work with FIFA to create more than 100 football pitches for children across Kazakhstan’s regions. This was not an announcement that all those facilities have opened. The club’s CEO also praised the infrastructure of the academy in Almaty Region. Gil Marín received the Order of Dostyk, second class.
