Kazakh: start speaking from the first meeting
A free practical Kazakh course from first sounds to independent communication. The first 16 lessons cover introductions, natural ы/і, people and home, and the continuing My World project.
·
Every lesson is open: reading needs no account.
-
The course map and the first 30 seconds of conversation
In one lesson you will carry the first 30 seconds of a Kazakh introduction and see the full 80-lesson route from a greeting to independent B1 communication.
-
Nine distinctive letters: see, hear, and say them
You will connect nine Kazakh letters to the lips, tongue, back of the mouth, and nose, then read short words without replacing their sounds with Russian or English ones.
-
Vowel harmony: two sound families
You will hear two Kazakh vowel families and choose `-лар` or `-лер` from the final vowel of the stem instead of memorising disconnected endings.
-
The Kazakh sentence skeleton: action closes the thought
You will assemble a clear Kazakh sentence from who, detail, and action cards and see why a neutral statement commonly ends with its predicate.
-
Men…: introduce yourself without a memorised form
You will build a short introduction from a name, role, and city, notice the first-person ending, and change the information without breaking the structure.
-
Questions without fear: open a slot for the unknown
You will build questions with `кім`, `не`, `қайда`, and `қайдан`, then use the separate question particle in verified `ба/бе/па/пе` examples.
-
Repair a conversation and speak politely
You will use six short lines to stop misunderstanding, request repetition or slower speech, and return the exchange to meaning.
-
Mastery checkpoint: a first meeting without a script
You will hold a two-minute unscripted meeting using pronunciation, harmony, word order, questions, and repair, then demonstrate the result again after seven days.
-
Ы and І: a quiet sound is not a silent letter
You will hear and produce Kazakh ы and і as very short vowels, avoid replacing them with strong familiar vowels, and recognise the particular forms in which a vowel really disappears.
-
Бұл кім? Talking about family accurately and respectfully
You will name close relations, ask “Who is this?”, and answer in a complete frame without making assumptions about somebody else's family.
-
Whose home is it? Building possession as a two-sided link
You will build a “whose + what” link, distinguish my, respectful your, his or her, and a named person's item, and make both sides agree.
-
One or several: choosing six plural endings as one system
You will select -лар/-лер, -дар/-дер, or -тар/-тер from two signals: the word's vowel family and its final sound.
-
Counting people and rooms: numbers, age, and a short rhythm
You will use one to ten, state age and quantity, and keep the noun singular after an exact number.
-
Where is it? The home and -да/-де/-та/-те
You will name core parts of a home and locate a person or object by selecting the locative ending from harmony and the final sound.
-
What is in the home? Бар and жоқ instead of a translated ‘have’
You will state what exists or is absent in a place or for a character, ask with бар ма, and answer without copying an English structure.
-
Mastery checkpoint: people and home without a script
You will combine short ы/і, family, possession, quantity, location, and бар/жоқ in an independent tour of a fictional home.
