The map holds the whole route; we will add its details one at a time.

A real situation

A first meeting does not require a long biography. Three anchors are enough: what to call you, what you do, and where you are from. A fictional character keeps the exercise safe. The goal is not to complete a form but to choose information for the situation and connect it in your own voice.

How to practise

Press the button and look away from the text first: catch the overall meaning and just one new sound or structural choice. On the second pass, follow the phrase and the support map with your finger. Hide the model, rebuild it from two or three signs, and say a version of your own. Finish with a partner or a voice recorder: respond without preparation and note one place where you paused. Return to that link only instead of rereading the whole lesson.

The precise model

Keep the name frame Менің атым… as a useful whole. A role combines a stem with a first-person ending: оқушы + мын, мұғалім + мін. The suffix vowel harmonises with the stem, and its consonant can also change after different sounds. In Қостанайданмын, the form first expresses from Kostanay and then marks the speaker as I. Use the familiar complete forms while noticing the repeating personal ending.

The limit of the rule

We cannot mechanically attach -мын to every word. Kazakh also uses -мін, -бын/-бін, and -пын/-пін; harmony and the final sound control the choice. Today we use only verified frames from the lesson. A real person chooses which role and place to disclose. A home address, school name, or other sensitive detail is unnecessary.

Predict before the explanation

Look at оқушы, мұғалім, and Қазақстан. Before listening, choose between -мын and -мін from the vowel family, then check the finished form. Predict separately which part stays unchanged when Alina changes the name to Daniyar.

Rebuild it without the prompt

Hide the page and rebuild three cards: name, role, from where. Introduce a fictional character with the cards and then without them. Replace only the role on the second attempt and only the city on the third. The rest of the construction should remain stable.

Find and repair the mistake

A learner says Менің атым оқушымын, mixing the name frame with a role. Separate the two meanings: a name follows Менің атым, while the role receives an independent line beginning with Мен. Explain the repair through the card meanings rather than word order alone.

Transfer to a new setting

Introduce one character to a new classmate, a club teacher, and an online group. Decide which two or three cards belong in each setting. Replace the real city with a fictional one online while preserving the Kazakh language construction.

Change to the My World project

Complete project card 0.1 with a fictional name, safe role, and city. Keep an English or Russian translation only as an aid, with the three Kazakh lines as the main text. Colour the personal ending, then make a second copy that works without colour.

Exercise

Required. Write and speak an introduction for a fictional character with a name, role, and country or city. Make a second version by changing all three details while preserving the constructions.

Transfer check. A partner names one new safe role. Find a verified form in a dictionary, explain its ending, and use it in an exchange without reading.

Retrieval after 1, 7, and 30 days

• Tomorrow rebuild the three cards and introduce a fictional name without the text.
• After seven days, change the name, role, and city from random cards.
• After thirty days, open a one-minute exchange with the introduction without pausing over endings.
