Government presents state awards ahead of Kazakhstan’s Republic Day
The 23 October ceremony recognised contributions across construction, digital services, transport and other fields.
Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov presented state awards on behalf of the President ahead of Republic Day, the government reported on 23 October. Recipients work across construction, digitalisation, transport, energy and other sectors.
Timur Karagoishin, head of State Expertise, received the Order of Barys, third class. Eurasian Development Bank chairman Nikolai Podguzov received the Order of Dostyq, second class. Other distinctions included Qurmet and Eren Enbegi Ushin awards.
In his remarks, the prime minister connected national achievements with citizens’ daily work, responsibility and pursuit of knowledge. That is the assessment delivered at the ceremony, rather than an independent evaluation of each sector’s performance.
