More than 60 deals in three days: what AI & Digital Bridge may change in Kazakhstan
AI & Digital Bridge 2026 in Astana produced more than 60 agreements spanning AI, data centres, fintech, education and startups. Plans include a new data centre and a MultiBank regional office. We separate projects with stated commitments from memoranda that still need deadlines and delivery.
More than 60 documents in three days
More than 60 agreements were signed at AI & Digital Bridge 2026 in Astana, Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov said. They cover artificial intelligence, digital infrastructure, fintech, education, research, venture capital and startups.
The projects attracting attention
MultiBank announced an intention to invest $30–40 million and open a regional office. Kazakhtelecom, KT-Telecom and FireBird AI agreed on a new data-centre project. Other documents concern Kazakh-language AI, a digital Islamic finance pilot, Alatau City and cooperation involving Huawei, Bybit, Binance, KASE and the Development Bank of Kazakhstan.
A signature is not a finished facility
Many forum announcements are plans, memoranda or cooperation frameworks. Their real value will become visible through deadlines, money actually invested, working infrastructure, jobs and usable products. The decisive measure will therefore be the share of these agreements that move into delivery, rather than the number signed on stage.
