Kazakhstan wins Asian Games bronze in artistic swimming
Kazakhstan’s mixed team scored 216.7961 points to finish third at the Asian Games in Aichi and Nagoya. China took gold and Japan silver. Here is the result and the names of the ten athletes who delivered the medal for Kazakhstan.
The morning’s first medal news
On 28 September, Kazakhstan won bronze in the mixed-team artistic swimming event at the 2026 Asian Games in Aichi and Nagoya. The team scored 216.7961 points and finished the final in third place.
China won gold with 299.2117 points and Japan took silver with 286.2688. The gap shows the level of the two leaders, but Kazakhstan’s bronze is a team result in a discipline judged on synchronisation, difficulty, execution and the artistic unity of the routine.
Who represented Kazakhstan
The team consisted of Nargiza Bolatova, Viktor Druzin, Aigerim Kurmangaliyeva, Karina Magrupova, Kseniya Makarova, Anna Pavletsova, Valeriya Stolbunova, Yasmin Tuyakova, Dayana Dzhamanshalova and Zhaklin Yakimova.
The team event is especially demanding: one athlete’s error changes the overall pattern, while transitions and lifts must remain precise under fatigue. The final score therefore reflects the stability of the entire composition, rather than one spectacular element.

The Asian Games continue, and the morning result added another medal to Kazakhstan’s tally. The full standings should be checked after the competition day ends because results in other sports keep changing over several hours.
