Max Verstappen won Formula 1’s Singapore night race on October 11. He completed 62 laps of Marina Bay in 1:42:00.785, finishing 7.335 seconds ahead of Charles Leclerc. Kimi Antonelli took third, 24.573 seconds behind the winner. Those margins come from the championship’s official result sheet.
The start set the pattern
Leclerc challenged into the first corner, but Verstappen held the lead and gradually extended his advantage. A mid-race tyre change did not alter the order at the front. Formula 1’s race report says the Red Bull team had radio trouble and used a pit board for some communication, without changing the outcome.
This was Verstappen’s first Grand Prix win at Marina Bay and the 73rd of his career. It also came on his 250th Grand Prix start. Lando Norris finished fourth behind the podium trio.
What comes next?
Marina Bay’s narrow, twisting layout makes track position especially valuable, which helps explain the importance of the opening corner. The season is scheduled to resume at the United States Grand Prix on October 23–25. The championship implications should be checked against the updated official standings rather than inferred from a single result.
