Abai Region reports 417.7 billion tenge in investment

Abai Region attracted 417.7 billion tenge in investment during the first nine months of 2026, officials reported at a regional administration meeting on 27 October. Private investment accounted for 365.2 billion tenge of the total.

According to the administration, private investment rose by 97.9 billion tenge compared with the same period a year earlier. Construction work during January–September was valued at 240.4 billion tenge, while 173,100 square metres of housing were commissioned.

The meeting also addressed employment and housing for vulnerable residents. The regional governor instructed responsible agencies to work towards annual targets in industry, agriculture, construction and other sectors. The figures describe the reporting period and do not mean every project has been completed.
