ESA announces in-person Paris briefing with Sophie Adenot after ISS mission
The invitation issued on 26 October schedules the event for 2 November and says there will be no live broadcast.
The European Space Agency announced an in-person press conference with astronaut Sophie Adenot at ESA headquarters in Paris on 26 October. The event is scheduled for Monday, 2 November, at 11:30 Central European Time.
ESA describes it as Adenot’s first in-person press conference since returning to Cologne from an almost eight-month International Space Station mission. That qualification concerns the meeting format; it does not mean she returned from orbit on 26 October.
Under the invitation’s conditions, only accredited journalists attending on site may ask questions. No live transmission is planned. Registration is requested by 17:00 CET on 29 October, so participation requires advance accreditation rather than unrestricted entry.
The development within the past day is publication of the invitation; the conference itself is still ahead. It offers an opportunity to discuss mission experience, but the invitation does not announce new scientific results or Adenot’s next assignment. Such developments should not be treated as confirmed merely because a press conference has been scheduled.
