WorldSkills Shanghai 2026: Kazakhstan’s 33 competitors await the final results

Kazakhstan’s team has completed the competition stage of WorldSkills Shanghai 2026 and is awaiting the official awards ceremony on September 27. The delegation includes 33 young specialists competing in 31 skills.

The championship brought together more than 1,400 competitors from over 70 countries and regions. Main competition ran from September 23 to 26 at Shanghai’s National Exhibition and Convention Center.

Where Kazakhstan competed

The Ministry of Education lists mechatronics, engineering graphics, CNC technology, welding, electronics, electrical installation, industrial design, automotive maintenance, and cooking.

Digital categories include software and mobile app development, mobile robotics, and unmanned aircraft systems. The mix shows that modern vocational skill combines manual craft, engineering, and software.
