Toman gets its first kindergarten: what the village receives for KZT 797 million

Toman village in Atyrau Region is preparing to open its first kindergarten, with 80 places. The 2,209-square-metre building cost KZT 797 million and is expected to open in November. The project could change daily life for families, provided staffing and admissions match the new facility.

The village’s first kindergarten

Construction of the first preschool in Toman village, Atyrau Region, has been completed. The kindergarten is designed for 80 children in four groups. The 2,209.2-square-metre building cost KZT 797 million.

When children are expected to arrive

The regional administration says the main construction work is complete and paperwork is now being finalised. Opening is planned for November. Grand Master was the contractor, and the facility is expected to create 15 jobs.

What it could change for families

A local kindergarten can reduce daily travel, help parents return to work and give children a stable environment before school. The building alone will not determine quality, however. Adequate staffing, a safe route, reliable meals and transparent allocation of the 80 places will be just as important.
